Stefania Di Filippo was born and raised in Sicily, where she currently lives and works. She conceives photography as a means to investigate and document reality. In 2014 her first work 'Cosmogonia' was selected and exhibited in the eighth edition of the well-known and internationally recognized Photofestival event, inside the historic Giureconsulti Palace in Milan. In 2014, this series received the prestigious international award PX3 - Prix de la Photographie Paris - and won third place in the Fine Art - Abstract Photography category.
